09.16.11 - Dedicated Micros Launches Updated DM Network Video Brand and Differentiated Cloud NVR
Chantilly, VA, September 16, 2011 -- video surveillance specialist Dedicated Micros, Inc. - part of the AD Group of Companies – introduces the updated DM Network Video brand for its IP Video solutions, on Booth #3417 at ASIS 2011 and brings to market it's new, differentiated Cloud NVR and hybrid IP video solutions, its series of HD IP cameras with integrated camera recording and edge analytics and its new Android mobile application.
To build on its strong equity in the Dedicated Micros brand, and to avoid any possible risk of confusion in the US market in the future, Anglo Design Holdings PLC (AD Group) will offer its high-quality, innovative IP Video products for fixed, fire detection and mobile installations under the updated DM Network Video brand in the US market.
The products and technologies on show are contained within the Cloud NVR and hybrid IP video solution and bring exclusive benefits over and above other systems on the market including:
the award winning Closed IPTV hardened, IP management layer which enables the deployment of secure, trusted end point devices;
CamVu IP cameras with integrated camera recording to both uSD storage and remote HDD storage simultaneously, combined with full enterprise server capability and analytics at the edge;
Network and Storage controller delivers Closed IPTV hardened IP management layer combined with a managed gateway to near side USB/eSATA storage and iSCSI devices over the network, for a fail-safe architecture;
high performance video management and re-display solutions which include the NetVu ObserVer IP video management client and AMS archive management system - which enables the rapid retrieval of video from any NetVu Connected device spread over a large scale deployment of thousands of cameras - both of which work across Windows, Mac, Linux and Sparc operating systems, and also the Pick-a-Point embedded VMS solution;
traditional embedded DVR/NVR products including the SD Advanced, which, combined with the Layer 3 Enhanced Closed IPTV switch create a safe and secure hybrid analog/IP solution;
transcoding creates low bit rate, bandwidth friendly streams - without affecting the original recorded image quality or resolution - to be pushed to mobile devices without any interruption to the stream; the new Android application extends the portfolio of mobile and alternative viewing platforms.
Comments Pauline Norstrom, VP Dedicated Micros Inc. “Building on a background of innovation, spanning four decades of specialised video development for security and safety applications - our new products solve the problems Users otherwise experience with many IP systems. Virtually all other IP vendors rely solely on standards originally intended for video broadcast and while of course our product supports these basic standards as well, we consider them barely fit for purpose in demanding environments.
NetVu Connected, the core platform of DM Network Video's solutions, enables a smooth transition into the “cloud” underpinned by a fail-safe, distributed IP video architecture, secured by our award winning hardened “Closed IP” management layer.”
DM Network Video's differentiated IP video solutions will be available exclusively through a new Dealer Programme to be launched at the show.
