The TransVu series is designed for public and commercial transportation applications. The TransVu video server is encased in a rugged metal chassis with shock absorbers to withstand exposure to extreme shocks, vibrations and temperature; and provides low current consumption, trouble free, uninterrupted vehicle video surveillance security.
With common DVR features such as alarm and audio recording, the TransVu unit also incorporates important features such as location tracking via GPS, a built-in accelerometer, and power management integration with vehicle system data – including tachometer, driver panic button capability and on-board spot monitor.
TransVu Media also offers media options that use additional monitor outputs to show advertising or route information. Messaging can be fed through the monitors using a GPS system to trigger location specific, general messaging or promotional images.

- Wireless LAN Communication and Control – DHCP capable, access any vehicle’s DVR via external wireless access point or bridge
- Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) control using Coaxitron and most popular protocols

- Model configuration can be customized for specific projects
- Video motion detection and 6 configurable alarm inputs
- Vertical and horizontal installation options
- Accelerometer, G-force measurement (braking, turning, deceleration), partitions video if incident or event is sensed
- Logging – Supports vehicle performance data (RPM, MPH, braking, etc.)
- Power management function - DVR will continue to record after switch off or timed power down
- NetVu Observer for remote viewing and management (Windows and Mac Supported)
- NetVu Connected - ensures interoperability of all Dedicated Micros NetVu Connected products and third-party integration products
- MultiMode Recording - dynamically switchable resolution, record rate and compression per camera (MPEG-4 & JPEG)
- TransCoding - maximizes data transmission over available bandwidth for efficient remote viewing
- Simultaneous record, playback, image archiving and live viewing
