The DV-IP Encoder is a single channel encoder designed to increase the flexibility of NetVu Connected networks. Its versatility allows existing and new analog cameras to be added to an IP network, enabling a video surveillance solution to expand and adapt without the cost and trouble of completely replacing and redesigning the installation.
Its integrated MultiMode recording profiles can be set to give the user the flexibility to adjust resolution (QCIF to 4CIF), record rates and compression settings (MPEG-4/JPEG) dynamically across normal modes. (Alarm mode setting to be supported in a future release.)
Small and compact, the DV-IP Encoder includes a range of features including Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) support of major camera manufacturer’s products. The DV-IP Encoder is suitable for applications such as private and public campus buildings, shopping centers, universities and hotels. By using the power of NetVu Connected technology, the DV-IP Encoder provides interoperability across the entire video surveillance system.p>

- With an associated IP address the DV-IP Encoder can be viewed by any permitted NetVu ObserVer client
- A NetVu connected DVR can view and configure the DV-IP Encoder over an IP network whilst still viewing traditional analogue cameras. The encoder will be treated as one of the available cameras to the user and its IP Stream recorded
